Bloggers for Bri: A Fundraiser for Bri Brownlow

Bee and Jai of Jugalbandi are coordinating a fundraiser for Bri Brownlow of Figs with Bri who has Stage IV breast cancer.

Two and half years ago, Bri was diagnosed with breast cancer; after a mastectomy and chemotherapy, the cancer has returned and has metastasized to other parts of her body.

The goal is to raise $12,000 by July 15th to help Bri pay for out-of-pocket medical treatments for one year. Please click here to learn how you can make a donation, and here for a list of raffle prizes being offered to donors.

Also, Bee and Jai have dedicated their June Click photography event to Bri. This month they want to see your yellow entries for Bri. Thanks to the amazing efforts of the Livestrong Foundation, yellow has become the color of hope, the color symbolizing the fight against cancer.

How wonderful that there is such a loving community of love & support for this dear woman. My photography is not so great, but I will do my best. In the meantime, I will keep sweet Bri in my prayers.
